The Home Affairs Ministry is set to fund bus services in the Northern region for the Fiji Day celebrations taking place in Labasa tomorrow, according to special administrator of Labasa Town Council, Samuela Ligairi.
He announced that there will be three buses each for Nabouwalu and Savusavu, along with one bus for Dogotuki.
“This initiative is designed to ensure that everyone can partake in the festivities without the concern of transportation,” Mr. Ligairi stated.
He also noted that regular bus services in Labasa will continue as usual.
“We have received assurances from the bus operators in the North to facilitate a large turnout for the event,” he added.
Mr. Ligairi mentioned that the buses will depart from three different locations at 6 am.
