The Home Affairs Ministry will fund bus services in the Northern region for the Fiji Day celebrations taking place in Labasa tomorrow, according to Samuela Ligairi, the special administrator of the Labasa Town Council. He announced that there will be three buses each for Nabouwalu and Savusavu, as well as one bus for Dogotuki.
“This initiative is designed to ensure that everyone can participate in the celebrations without concerns about transportation,” Ligairi stated. He also mentioned that bus services in Labasa would operate as usual.
“It’s the assurance we received from the bus operators in the North because we want to encourage a large turnout at the event,” he added. The bus service is scheduled to depart from three different locations at 6 am.
