The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua has welcomed Flying Fijians and former Racing 92 center Inia Tabuavou to their team.
The Natabua High School graduate has signed a two-year contract for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, following impressive performances in France’s Top 14 competition.
His strong midfield performances in both attack and defense earned him a call-up to the Flying Fijians earlier this year. He played at inside center against Georgia and the All Blacks.
“It feels good to be home, especially with the Drua family. I’m really looking forward to trying out the new environment, especially the culture of the team and the type of rugby they play,” Tabuavou said.
Tabuavou will join the Drua after completing his commitments with the Flying Fijians in 2024.
