“Flying Fijians Ready to Soar: Exciting Matchup Against Manu Samoa Awaits!”

Selestino Ravutaumada and Iosefo Masi have returned to the squad after the Olympics, and both are fit and ready to play, according to FIJI Water Flying Fijians coach Mick Byrne. With only hours remaining before their match against Manu Samoa, the team’s excitement is palpable.

Byrne noted the pressure he faces as a coach, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that all players are in top condition for the game. “Pressure is one thing we coaches feel; it’s mainly about getting the job done and ensuring all players are in excellent shape before the match,” he stated.

He expressed his satisfaction with having Masi and Ravutaumada back in the lineup following their Olympic experience. Despite some players dealing with injuries, Byrne is confident in the 23 players selected to compete against Samoa. Ravutaumada will play on the wing, while Masi will take the position of outside center.

As the anticipation for the match builds, Byrne urged fans to rally behind the Flying Fijians, forecasting an exciting encounter against Samoa. The Flying Fijians will face Manu Samoa today at 6pm at HFC Bank Stadium, marking the opening match of this year’s Pacific Nation Cup.
