Nearly 14,000 students in Fiji are set to commence their Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) at 177 examination centers across the nation starting tomorrow. Among the examination venues are three new centers: Ratu Simione Matanitobua in Suva, Nakorotubu Secondary School in Ra, and Muaira Methodist College in Lautoka Yasawa, as announced by the Ministry of Education.
The FY12CE will run from November 12 to November 22. Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro has extended his best wishes to the students, underscoring the significance of community support during this crucial period. He expressed that this examination represents not only the culmination of students’ hard work and resilience but also serves as a vital stepping stone toward their future goals.
“As you prepare for and approach your external examination, remember that this exam is a noteworthy turning point, marking not only the result of your determination and perseverance but also a stepping stone toward your future aspirations,” Mr. Radrodro stated. He encouraged students to trust in their preparations, approach each exam with confidence, and stay focused, acknowledging that this period can invoke both excitement and pressure.
Furthermore, Mr. Radrodro highlighted the essential role of parents, guardians, and the wider community in uplifting students’ morale. He encouraged students to take care of themselves, ensuring they get adequate rest and maintain a positive mindset during this pivotal time.
In summary, as these students embark on their examination journey, it’s a moment filled with potential for growth and achievement, emphasizing the importance of community support and personal well-being. The encouragement from educational leaders like Minister Radrodro serves to inspire both students and their support networks as they face this significant challenge.
