Fiji’s Year 12 Students Gear Up for Life-Changing Exams

Approximately 13,975 students are set to take the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) starting tomorrow at 177 examination centers across Fiji. The Ministry of Education announced the introduction of three new exam centers: Ratu Simione Matanitobua in the Suva district, Nakorotubu Secondary School in the Ra district, and Muaira Methodist College in the Lautoka Yasawa district.

The examinations will occur from November 12 to 22. Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro expressed his well wishes to the students and highlighted the importance of community support in this crucial time.

Mr. Radrodro stated, “As you prepare for and approach your external examination, remember that this exam is a noteworthy turning point, marking not only the result of your determination and perseverance but also a stepping stone toward your future aspirations.” He encouraged students to trust in their preparation and to tackle each exam paper with confidence, acknowledging that this period can bring both excitement and challenges.

He also stressed the vital role of parents, guardians, and the community in boosting students’ morale during this time. He urged all students to prioritize their well-being by getting enough rest and maintaining a positive mindset.
