Approximately 13,975 students are set to commence the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) at 177 examination centers across Fiji. The examination will take place from November 12 to 22.
The Ministry of Education has announced the inclusion of three new examination centers this year: Ratu Simione Matanitobua in the Suva district, Nakorotubu Secondary School in the Ra district, and Muaira Methodist College in the Lautoka Yasawa district.
Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro extended his best wishes to the students, highlighting the importance of community support during this critical time. He expressed, “As you prepare for and approach your external examination, remember that this exam is a noteworthy turning point, marking not only the result of your determination and perseverance but also a stepping stone towards your future aspirations.”
Mr. Radrodro encouraged students to trust in their preparations, approach each exam paper with confidence, and maintain focus, acknowledging that this period can be both exciting and challenging. He underscored the essential role that parents, guardians, and the community play in bolstering students’ morale. Moreover, he advised students to prioritize their well-being, ensuring they get enough rest and maintain a positive outlook during the examination period.
This examination represents a significant moment for students, marking their resilience and dedication to their education. As they embark on this journey, the support from their families and communities can serve as a powerful motivator, reinforcing the idea that they are not alone in facing these challenges.
In summary, the FY12CE is not just an examination; it is a celebration of academic effort and a vital step towards future opportunities.
