As the FIFA World Cup qualifiers draw near, Fiji Bula Boys’ head coach Rob Sherman has expressed concerns about the uncertainties posed by recent coaching changes among their group opponents. With Josh Smith and Felipe Vega-Arango now at the helm, Sherman noted the unpredictability that these shifts bring to their rivals’ playing styles.
“There’s an element of the unknown because Josh and Felipe are new in their roles. How they’ve played in the past might not reflect how they’ll approach the upcoming matches. We’ve done our analysis, but there’s always some uncertainty when new coaches come into play,” Sherman stated.
Fiji aims to leverage the enthusiasm of their home crowd to enhance their chances for a favorable result in the next stage of the World Cup qualifiers.
