Fiji’s World Cup Journey: Can New Coaching Changes Topple Their Plans?

Spread the love

As the FIFA World Cup qualifiers draw near, Fiji’s head coach, Rob Sherman, has expressed concerns about the uncertainties posed by recent coaching changes among their group opponents. With Josh Smith and Felipe Vega-Arango taking on new coaching positions, Sherman noted that this could lead to unpredictable strategies on the field.

“There’s an element of the unknown because Josh and Felipe are new in their roles. How they’ve played in the past might not reflect how they’ll approach the upcoming matches. We’ve done our analysis, but there’s always some uncertainty when new coaches come into play,” Sherman stated.

Fiji is determined to leverage the enthusiastic backing of their home crowd as they aim for a strong performance in the next phase of the World Cup qualifiers.
