As the FIFA World Cup qualifiers draw near, head coach Rob Sherman of the Fiji Bula Boys expressed concerns over the uncertainties created by recent coaching changes among their group opponents.

With Josh Smith and Felipe Vega-Arango taking on new coaching positions, Sherman emphasized that this could lead to unpredictable adjustments in play styles.

“There’s an element of the unknown because Josh and Felipe are new in their roles. How they’ve played in the past might not reflect how they’ll approach the upcoming matches. We’ve done our analysis, but there’s always some uncertainty when new coaches come into play,” stated Sherman.

Fiji aims to leverage the support of their enthusiastic home crowd as they seek a strong performance in the next phase of the World Cup qualifiers.
