As the FIFA World Cup qualifiers draw near, the head coach of the Fiji Bula Boys, Rob Sherman, expressed concerns about the unpredictability posed by recent coaching changes among their group opponents.

Sherman noted that with both Josh Smith and Felipe Vega-Arango taking on new coaching roles, the team’s play styles may be difficult to anticipate. “There’s an element of the unknown because Josh and Felipe are new in their roles. How they’ve played in the past might not reflect how they’ll approach the upcoming matches. We’ve done our analysis, but there’s always some uncertainty when new coaches come into play,” he explained.

Fiji is determined to leverage the enthusiasm of their home crowd as they aim for a strong performance in the next stage of the World Cup qualifiers.
