As the FIFA World Cup qualifiers draw near, Fiji’s head coach, Rob Sherman, expressed his concerns regarding the unpredictability of their group opponents following recent coaching changes. With Josh Smith and Felipe Vega-Arango taking on new coaching positions, Sherman noted the potential for altered play styles.
“There’s an element of the unknown because Josh and Felipe are new in their roles. How they’ve played in the past might not reflect how they’ll approach the upcoming matches. We’ve conducted our analysis, but there’s always some uncertainty when new coaches are introduced,” Sherman stated.
Fiji aims to leverage their home advantage, supported by a passionate crowd, as they strive for a crucial outcome in the next round of World Cup qualifiers.
