Fiji Football has celebrated a significant achievement with three senior women’s players securing professional contracts abroad for the upcoming 2025 season. The players Adi Lita Bakaniceva and Maria Veronica Maria will be joining Hekari FC in Papua New Guinea, while Anegline Rekha has signed with New Zealand’s Western Springs. Bakaniceva, recognized for her exceptional vision and ball control, recently earned the Extra Supermarket Footballer of the Year 2024 Female award, establishing herself as one of the top talents in Fiji. Meanwhile, defender Angeline Rekha, known for her strong tackling abilities and leadership, will depart for Western Springs on February 1.
