Team Fiji’s Table Tennis player Vicky Wu experienced the Olympic Games in Paris for the first time today.
Wu faced a challenging start, losing his opening game in the Table Tennis competition to Great Britain’s Liam Pitchford by 4 sets.
A former student of Yat Sen Secondary School, Wu is the first Fijian to qualify for the Olympics in the sport of Table Tennis.
Despite the loss, Wu expressed pride in his performance and in representing Fiji at the 2024 Paris Olympics Table Tennis Competition.
