Fiji’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism, Viliame Gavoka, has expressed serious concerns about the potential arrival of UK adult actresses Bonnie Blue and Anne Knight in Fiji, describing their presence as detrimental to the nation’s reputation as a tourist hotspot. In his recent statement, Gavoka revealed that he had been informed by his team regarding reports of Bonnie Blue’s anticipated entry into the country.
Gavoka highlighted that Blue, alongside Anne Knight, allegedly intended to offer inappropriate services to young people celebrating their school graduation in Fiji. In light of these revelations, he assured that his Ministry is actively collaborating with relevant authorities to address the situation promptly.
Furthermore, Gavoka stated that the Ministry of Tourism would fully support any actions taken by the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration to revoke her visa, regardless of whether she has already arrived in Fiji or not, in order to uphold the integrity of the country’s tourism industry.
This proactive approach taken by the Fijian government emphasizes its commitment to maintaining a safe and family-friendly environment for visitors. It reflects a broader effort to ensure that Fiji remains a desirable destination for tourists seeking wholesome experiences, thereby reinforcing its message of responsible tourism.
By prioritizing the protection of its image, Fiji aims to attract a diverse range of tourists while safeguarding the interests and values of the community.
