Fiji’s Tourism Revolution: A Sustainable Future Unveiled!

The 2024 Fiji Tourism Convention, taking place this week in Nadi, marks a significant milestone in the Coalition Government’s initiative to enhance growth, innovation, and sustainability in Fiji’s tourism sector.

With record visitor numbers and a forward-thinking national tourism framework, the Convention underscores the government’s effective leadership and the industry’s resilience in solidifying Fiji’s status as a premier global destination.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, Villiame Gavoka, pointed out that one of the key outcomes of the Convention is the introduction of the Fiji National Sustainable Tourism Framework 2024-2034. This framework exemplifies the government’s dedication to establishing Fiji as a global leader in sustainable tourism, ensuring lasting benefits for both the environment and local communities.
