Approximately 13,975 students are set to participate in the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) at 177 examination centers across Fiji, beginning tomorrow. The Ministry of Education has introduced three new exam venues for this year’s examination: Ratu Simione Matanitobua in Suva, Nakorotubu Secondary School in the Ra district, and Muaira Methodist College in the Lautoka Yasawa district.
The FY12CE will take place from November 12 to November 22. Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro expressed his encouragement to the students, highlighting the importance of communal support during this significant time. He noted that this exam is not just an assessment of their efforts but also a critical turning point that can pave the way for their future aspirations.
“Trust in the preparation you have put in, and approach each exam paper with confidence and focus, as I understand that this period can be both exciting and challenging,” Mr. Radrodro advised. He also underscored the vital support that parents, guardians, and communities provide in boosting students’ morale. Furthermore, he urged all students to prioritize their well-being by ensuring they get enough rest and maintain a positive mindset.
This period of examination represents a crucial milestone in the students’ academic journeys, with communities rallying around them to foster an environment of encouragement and support. With dedicated preparation and a supportive network, students are well-positioned to face this challenge confidently.
In summary, the FY12CE presents an opportunity for students to demonstrate their hard work, with the Ministry of Education advocating for community involvement and reminding students of the importance of self-care during this pivotal time.
