Lagonilakeba acknowledged that the competition in Nauru will present significant challenges, saying, “Competing in Nauru will be no easy feat. I believe the exposure and experience our athletes will gain from this competition will be unparalleled.” He also praised the athletes for balancing their commitments outside of the sport.
