Recent successes highlight the athletes’ capabilities, as demonstrated during the 2023 Pacific Games where they secured two medals in the women’s javelin ambulant event—Selina Sanday clinched silver while Naibili Vatunisolo achieved bronze.
With a committed group comprised of six athletes under the guidance of coach Fred Fatiaki and section manager Kumon Tarawa, the Para Athletics team is set to join their male counterparts in contributing to Team Fiji’s medal tally at the upcoming Mini Games.
