Opposition Member of Parliament Ketan Lal has stated his intention to continue advocating for the needs and aspirations of various communities in Fiji after being elected as the Deputy Whip for the Opposition. Following the announcement made by the Speaker, Lal expressed his honor at being chosen for this role within the Opposition Working Group (16). He described taking on this position as a humbling experience and reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the voices of the people are heard and amplified. Lal also expressed gratitude to his supporters for their trust and confidence in him.
