The Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa is set to unveil its new ballroom and conference center, which will measure an impressive 16,576 square meters, making it the largest facility of its kind in Fiji. The grand opening is scheduled for March 1, 2025.

According to the general manager, Shaun Parsons, the anticipation surrounding the new event space reflects a significant advancement in the region’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) offerings. Parsons noted that there has already been substantial interest from international businesses seeking off-site event venues for their large teams, highlighting the demand for such facilities.

The resort’s new offerings will include not only the expansive conference center but also ten on-site restaurants and bars, along with suites that offer direct pool access. This diverse range of amenities is contributing to the excitement surrounding the resort’s expansion.

Additionally, the Crowne Plaza Fiji will introduce the Urban Sugar beach club, providing guests with opportunities to relax and enjoy various entertainment options.

This ambitious project showcases the growth of Fiji as a prime destination for business conferences and events, which is expected to boost tourism in the region and provide economic benefits.

In summary, the Crowne Plaza Fiji’s new facilities are poised to elevate Fiji’s reputation in the global MICE market, creating new opportunities for business gatherings and enriching the local hospitality experience. The upcoming developments offer a promising outlook for both the resort and Fiji’s tourism industry.
