The Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa has announced the upcoming launch of its ballroom and conference center, which will cover an impressive area of 16,576 square meters, making it the largest of its kind in Fiji. These state-of-the-art facilities are set to open their doors on March 1, 2025.

Shaun Parsons, the general manager of Crowne Plaza Fiji, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It’s been a long time coming, but our new ballroom and event space sets a new standard for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) venues in the Pacific, so the wait has been worth it.” He also mentioned a growing interest from international businesses seeking venues for off-site events and conferences that can accommodate large teams.

The resort is positioned to cater to high-demand events, as Parsons highlighted the limited options for large-scale gatherings in the region. The facility will be complemented by ten restaurants and bars, along with suites that offer direct pool access, all contributing to a vibrant atmosphere for guests.

Additionally, the resort plans to introduce the Urban Sugar beach club soon, providing guests with a relaxing environment and various entertainment opportunities.

This development marks a significant milestone for Fiji, promising to enhance the country’s appeal as a premier destination for business and leisure travelers alike.

In summary, the opening of the new ballroom and conference center at Crowne Plaza Fiji is set to elevate Fiji’s position in the international MICE market, offering unparalleled facilities and luxury experiences. It’s an exciting time for the region as it looks to attract global events, paving the way for increased tourism and economic opportunities.
