The NDP also underscores the significance of land access for economic and social welfare, proposing strategies to improve land availability. This includes reassessing institutions and laws, expediting lease applications, and initiating reforms concerning iTaukei land.
Furthermore, the plan advocates for a comprehensive approach to managing mineral and groundwater resources, aiming to balance economic development with environmental conservation and social welfare.
