The Fiji Enterprise Engine Accelerator Program (FEE), initiated by the Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation (FCEF), announced new partnerships that signify an important milestone in its mission to enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Fiji.

Savenaca Baro, the acting CEO of FCEF, expressed his gratitude during the signing of the memorandums of agreement. He highlighted the establishment of FEE in 2019 and noted the successful graduation of approximately 77 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through the program.

Baro acknowledged the contribution of partners and organizations, stating, “To all the partners and other organizations, we couldn’t be doing this without you. Supporting this space is a testament to recognizing the work of FEE.”

The newly formed partnerships include 22 distinguished alumni of the program and three dedicated MSME coaches. Christopher Vanualailai from Envirotech Solutions Pacific shared his personal connection to FEE, emphasizing the invaluable lessons he learned that are not offered in traditional educational institutions. He credited the program with helping him launch his business last year, stating, “I had people who believed in my idea when no one else did.”

Watesoni Nata, Chairman of the MSME Council, also recognized the alumni for their ongoing support and commitment to the program. He expressed his appreciation, reinforcing the importance of alumni helping their peers within FEE.

FEE continues to play a crucial role in empowering MSMEs by providing tailored support and resources that foster growth and development. The success of the program underscores the significance of strong partnerships and collaborative efforts with various stakeholders.

This new collaboration is anticipated to boost innovation and prosperity for MSMEs throughout Fiji, furthering FEE’s goal of promoting enterprise growth and economic advancement.
