The Fiji Enterprise Engine Accelerator Program (FEE), launched by the Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation (FCEF), announced new partnerships yesterday, signaling a significant advancement in its mission to cultivate a vibrant entrepreneurial landscape in Fiji.
FCEF’s acting CEO Savenaca Baro expressed gratitude during the signing of the memorandums of agreement. He noted that since the establishment of FEE in 2019, approximately 77 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have successfully graduated from the program.
“To all the partners and organizations involved, we couldn’t have achieved this without your support. Your commitment to promoting this space is a testament to the value of FEE’s work,” Baro remarked.
The new partnerships include 22 distinguished alumni from the FEE program and three dedicated MSME coaches. Christopher Vanualailai from Envirotech Solutions Pacific shared how the FEE program has personally impacted him.
“I talk about the FEE program everywhere I go because the knowledge gained here is unmatched by other educational institutions. I’m grateful for the people I met in this program, which has significantly contributed to where my company stands today,” he stated.
Vanualailai emphasized the importance of having a supportive network, crediting the FEE program for equipping him with the skills needed to successfully register his business last year.
Watesoni Nata, Chairman of the MSME council, recognized the alumni for their continued support and commitment towards the FEE initiative. “Thank you to our alumni for sponsoring this initiative. Your support for your fellow cohorts is a crucial principle in business,” Nata said.
FEE has played a pivotal role in empowering MSMEs through customized support and resources, facilitating their growth. The program’s achievements highlight the importance of strong partnerships and collaboration with various stakeholders.
