Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa has announced the upcoming inauguration of its expansive ballroom and conference center, which will cover an impressive 16,576 square meters, making it the largest venue of its kind in Fiji. The two facilities are set to officially open on March 1, 2025.

General Manager Shaun Parsons expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It’s been a long time coming, but our new ballroom and event space sets a new standard for MICE venues in the Pacific, so the wait has been worth it.” The venue has already attracted significant interest from international businesses looking for unique off-site locations to host events and conferences for large teams.

Parsons highlighted the lack of comparable venues in the region, noting, “There are very few places that can accommodate large scale events like these.” He mentioned the additional appeal of the resort, which includes 10 restaurants and bars, as well as suites with direct pool access, contributing to the excitement around the new offerings.

In addition to the ballroom and conference center, the resort will soon introduce the Urban Sugar beach club, providing guests with a relaxing space to enjoy entertainment options.

This development not only enhances Fiji’s reputation as a prime destination for business events but also bolsters the local tourism economy, creating opportunities for growth and showcasing the beauty of the Pacific. The anticipation around the new facilities underscores the importance of innovative spaces that cater to the evolving needs of businesses and travelers alike.
