After a month of intensive training, the Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys under-18 team has been finalized to represent the nation in an upcoming match against the Australia Schoolboys team next week. Savenaca Muamua, Vice President of the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union, confirmed that the game will be held at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
Muamua is encouraging fans and rugby supporters to come out and cheer for the young athletes during the match. Tickets will be sold at the venue, starting at $5 for the grounds and $10 for the grandstands. The team will be training in Sigatoka ahead of the match, and Muamua anticipates a challenging contest from the visiting squad.
The first test match is set for Saturday, the 28th, with a kick-off at 8 PM following a 6 PM start. The second test match is scheduled for October 1 at 3 PM.
