The Republic of Fiji Military Forces launched a community work and drug awareness initiative yesterday as part of the lead-up to the 2024 Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl. The program began at the Dilkusha Home, where military personnel engaged in cleanup efforts, maintenance work, and planted over a hundred cassava plants for the children residing there.

In the afternoon, the team held an awareness session at Gospel High School, focusing on the impacts of drug use. The event saw participation from Kalesi Volatabu, the founder of Drug Free World, along with representatives from the Ministry of Health.

This collaborative community initiative will continue throughout the upcoming week in preparation for the 2024 Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Games.
