Fiji’s Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Grows with New Partnerships!

The Fiji Enterprise Engine Accelerator Program (FEE), developed by the Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation (FCEF), has announced the establishment of new partnerships that signify an important step in its efforts to enhance the entrepreneurial landscape in Fiji.

During the signing of the memorandums of agreement, FCEF’s acting chief executive officer, Savenaca Baro, expressed gratitude for the collaboration. He highlighted that since the program’s inception in 2019, approximately 77 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have successfully graduated from the initiative.

Baro acknowledged the significant role that partners and organizations play in supporting the FEE program. “To all the partners and other organizations, we couldn’t be doing this without you. Your involvement speaks volumes about the recognition of the work being done through FEE,” he stated.

The new partnerships include 22 prominent alumni of the FEE program and three committed MSME coaches. One partner, Christopher Vanualailai from Envirotech Solutions Pacific, shared his personal connection to the program, emphasizing its unique offerings compared to traditional educational institutions. He credited the connections made through FEE for the success of his business, stating, “I had people who believed in my idea when there was no one around me.”

Watesoni Nata, Chairman of the MSME council, expressed his appreciation to the partners for their commitment to the FEE program. He thanked the alumni for supporting fellow participants, highlighting the importance of community in business.

The FEE program has proven to be a vital resource for empowering MSMEs, providing tailored support that fosters their growth and development. The strength of the partnerships formed within this initiative is expected to further enhance innovation and success for MSMEs throughout Fiji, reinforcing FEE’s mission to accelerate enterprise growth and stimulate economic development.
