Fiji’s Entrepreneurial Revolution: New Partnerships Unveiled!

The Fiji Enterprise Engine Accelerator Program (FEE), a project of the Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation (FCEF), revealed new partnerships yesterday, marking a significant milestone in its mission to nurture a thriving entrepreneurial environment in Fiji.

FCEF’s acting CEO, Savenaca Baro, expressed gratitude during the signing of the memorandums of agreement. “Since launching FEE in 2019, it’s encouraging to see around 77 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) graduate from our program,” he stated. Baro acknowledged the vital role that partners and organizations play in supporting the initiative and highlighted the recognition of FEE’s ongoing efforts.

The new collaborations include 22 esteemed alumni of the FEE program and three committed MSME coaches. One partner, Christopher Vanualailai from Envirotech Solutions Pacific, shared a personal connection to the program. “I frequently discuss the FEE program, as the knowledge gained here cannot be found in traditional educational settings. The relationships formed have significantly influenced my company’s success,” he noted. Vanualailai emphasized the support he received for his business idea during the program, which ultimately led to the registration of his company last year.

Watesoni Nata, chairman of the MSME council, appreciated the partners’ support and commitment to the FEE initiative. “I thank all of you, our alumni, for your sponsorship in helping this initiative thrive. Your presence here to support fellow FEE participants is an essential principle in business,” he remarked.

FEE has played a crucial role in empowering MSMEs by providing tailored support and resources that foster growth and development. The program’s achievements highlight the importance of strong partnerships and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Looking ahead, this partnership is anticipated to enhance innovation and success for MSMEs throughout Fiji, further solidifying FEE’s goal of promoting enterprise growth and economic progress.
