Education Minister Aseri Radrodro introduced a new Learning Management System at the Holiday Inn in Suva today. This initiative is part of the Coalition Government’s commitment to enhancing education through improved accessibility, efficiency, and the integration of technology, aiming to create a digitally empowered Fiji.
The newly launched system will enable live sessions and is designed to work seamlessly with platforms such as Zoom, providing flexible learning options for students. Radrodro emphasized the importance of these tools in meeting the needs of the tech-savvy Generation Alpha, positioning the initiative as a leader in educational innovation.
Additionally, Radrodro urged educators to apply for scholarships by January 31, as a measure to address the shortages of teachers in critical areas. He praised the TSL school for its dedication to technological progress and its alignment with the government’s vision.
This new educational technology initiative is a hopeful step towards creating a progressive learning environment that not only empowers students but also strengthens the teaching workforce in Fiji. With continuous advancements in education technology, the future looks promising for both educators and learners in the country.
