The Commission of Inquiry into the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) may include members from abroad. In a response to inquiries from the media, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka stated that the inclusion of overseas members is “being considered.” He also mentioned that the Terms of Reference for the commission have been drafted and will be made public soon. “It’s being made up now and is in draft form,” he noted. The inquiry will look into the appointment of FICAC Commissioner Barbara Malimali and investigate allegations raised by former acting Commissioner Francis Pulewai.
