The Commission of Inquiry regarding the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) may feature members from overseas. Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka indicated that this possibility is currently under consideration when responding to inquiries from the media. He mentioned that the Terms of Reference for the Commission have been drafted and will be made public soon. “It’s being made up now and is in draft form,” he stated. Mr. Rabuka also noted that the Commission will investigate the appointment of FICAC Commissioner Barbara Malimali and look into allegations made by former FICAC acting Commissioner Francis Pulewai.
