Fiji’s Cabinet Unites with UNDP for Sustainable Tourism Boost

The Fijian Cabinet has given the green light to enter into a Letter of Agreement between the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as part of the Governance for Resilient Development in the Pacific Project (Gov4Res).

This agreement will provide essential human resource support to the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation from the UNDP through the Gov4Res initiative.

The collaboration aims to facilitate the implementation of significant projects like the Pilot Tourism Micro and Small Enterprises Fund and the Vanua Levu Tourism Development Programme.

This partnership underscores a shared objective to foster resilient development across the Pacific, focusing on supporting small businesses and promoting sustainable tourism growth.
