As the FIFA World Cup qualifiers draw near, Fiji Bula Boys’ head coach, Rob Sherman, has expressed concerns regarding the uncertainties his team faces due to recent coaching changes among their group opponents.
With Josh Smith and Felipe Vega-Arango taking on new coaching positions, Sherman emphasized the unpredictability it introduces to their opponents’ playing styles.
“There’s an element of the unknown because Josh and Felipe are new in their roles. Their previous styles of play might not reflect how they’ll approach the upcoming matches. We’ve conducted our analysis, but there’s always some uncertainty when new coaches come into play,” Sherman stated.
Fiji is determined to leverage the support of a dedicated home crowd as they aim for a significant result in the upcoming stage of the World Cup qualifiers.
