As the FIFA World Cup qualifiers draw near, Fiji’s head coach, Rob Sherman, has expressed concerns about the unpredictability posed by recent coaching changes among their group opponents. With Josh Smith and Felipe Vega-Arango taking on new coaching positions, Sherman noted that this shift could drastically alter their playing styles.

He remarked, “There’s an element of the unknown because Josh and Felipe are new in their roles. Their past performance may not indicate their strategy in the upcoming matches. We have conducted our analysis, but the introduction of new coaches brings an inherent uncertainty.”

Fiji is determined to leverage the support of a dedicated home crowd as they aim for a strong performance in the next round of the World Cup qualifiers.
