Fiji’s Bula Boys Boost Squad Ahead of World Cup Qualifiers!

Digicel Fiji Bula Boys head coach Rob Sherman has strengthened his team ahead of the FIFA World Cup Oceania Qualifiers by adding three new players. The squad now includes midfielder Leroy Jennings from Sydney United FC, defender Gabrieli Matanisiga from Wellington Olympic AFC, and defender Kavaia Rawaqa from Suva FC, bringing the total to an extended 27-member lineup.

Fiji has been placed in Group A for the qualifiers, which also includes the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and New Caledonia. The team is gearing up for the first round of qualifiers, scheduled to begin on October 10 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

The complete 27-member squad features: Isikeli Sevania, Samuela Kautoga, Epeli Leiroti, Ivan Kumar, Sitiveni Cavulagi, Thomas Dunn, Mohammed Raheem, Setareki Hughes, Aprosa Yada, Nabil Begg, Mosese Nabose, Tevita Waranaivalu, Merril Nand, Leroy Jennings, Sairusi Nalabu, Patrik Joseph, Atonio Tuivuna, Filipe Baravilala, Kavaia Rawaqa, Rahul Krishna, Jerome Narayan, Sterling Vasconcellos, Akuila Mataisuva, Dave Radrigai, Gabrieli Matanisiga, and Etonia Dogalau.
