Fiji’s Boxing Showdown: “The Sniper” vs. “King” in Title Clash!

Fiji’s Sebastian “The Sniper” Singh is intensively training for his upcoming fight against “King” Tonga Tongotongo, scheduled for the IBO Asia Pacific Cruiserweight title match next month. Both boxers will face off in the eagerly awaited South Pacific Boxing event.

Singh has been undergoing three weeks of rigorous training and feels well-prepared, relying on the strong support from his team ahead of the fight on October 26. While recognizing the skill and determination of his opponent, Singh remains confident in his abilities and is determined to represent his country with pride in the ring.

“He’s a bull; he’s a maniac, and I know he’s coming to rip my head off, but I am not weary, I am not afraid, I don’t have any doubts in myself. I believe in myself,” Singh stated. “At the end of the day, he’s got two hands; I’ve got two hands. He’s fought quality opponents, I’ve fought quality opponents, and this is my country. No one’s going to come and overrule my nation.”

He expressed gratitude for his coach, Joseph Kwadjo, crediting him for his success in previous training camps. Singh emphasized the importance of preparation, saying, “That’s why we are training very hard; tirelessly we are working hard, making sure we don’t leave any stones unturned.”

Singh extended a warm invitation to fans to attend the fight, promising an exciting experience and encouraging support, assuring them that they will not be disappointed. The event will be hosted at King Charles Park in Nadi on October 26.
