The Public Works Ministry of Fiji is set to submit a budget proposal aimed at revitalizing maritime depots and launching new water projects as part of its ambitious Water Sector Strategy 2050. Minister Ro Filipe Tuisawau underlined the importance of this initiative for enhancing public services.
In discussions with international development partners, including Japan, Tuisawau highlighted plans for upgrading and redeveloping maritime depots, particularly on islands like Rotuma, Kadavu, Lakeba, Ovalau, and Taveuni.
