The National Development Plan is set to be unveiled on Tuesday, September 17, as confirmed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Prof. Biman Prasad. He described the launch as a significant event for both the government and its citizens.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka is slated to officially present the National Development Plan, which has been developed after extensive consultations with both the private sector and the public, according to Prof. Prasad.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the plan, noting that it will prioritize critical areas of concern. Key issues raised by Fijians during consultations include access to water, rural electrification, improved connectivity, better road infrastructure, and expanded healthcare services.
