Fijians Shine in Thrilling Top 14 Showdown!

A Flying Fijian utility back showcased his exceptional skills in the French Top 14 competition on Saturday. Bayonne center Sireli Maqala formed a potent partnership with former England international Manu Tuilagi, contributing to their team’s impressive 32-15 victory over Racing 92. Maqala scored a try in the 45th minute, while tighthead prop Luke Tagi came off the bench to add strength to the lineup. Racing 92 featured strong-running winger Josua Tuisova in their squad.

In another match, elusive winger Jiu ta Wainiqolo found the try line in Toulon’s 30-17 triumph over Montpellier. Wainiqolo was joined on the wing by utility back Seta Tuicuvu.

In a more challenging outing, Flying Fijian second-five eighth Adrea Cocagi received a red card in the 20th minute as Castres secured a 35-13 win against Stade Francais. Veteran Leone Nakarawa played at lock, while Setareki Turagacoke started from the bench for Stade Francais.

Semi Radradra also faced disciplinary action, receiving a yellow card for Lyon in their narrow 29-26 defeat to USA Perpignan. Radradra and Sam Matavesi started from the bench, while Perpignan’s Tavite Veredamu scored a try during injury time, with Eneriko Buliruarua playing at center.

Toulouse, featuring burly winger Setareki Bituniyata, edged out Pau with a close 22-14 victory, while Pau included Lekima Tagitagivalu on the bench.

Fiji-born France winger Alivereti Raka scored a try in Clermont’s commanding 55-33 win over Vannes. Fiery flanker Peceli Yato made an appearance as a substitute for Clermont, while Salesi Rayasi started for Vannes.
