Bayonne center Sireli Maqala formed a potent partnership with former England international Manu Tuilagi, contributing to their team’s impressive 32-15 victory over Racing 92. Maqala scored a try in the 45th minute, while tighthead prop Luke Tagi came off the bench to add strength to the lineup. Racing 92 featured strong-running winger Josua Tuisova in their squad.
In another match, elusive winger Jiu ta Wainiqolo found the try line in Toulon’s 30-17 triumph over Montpellier. Wainiqolo was joined on the wing by utility back Seta Tuicuvu.
