Head coach Mosese Rauluni acknowledged that his team was sluggish in the first half, conceding too much possession and several penalties. However, he noted some improvement in the second half while recognizing that minor errors still posed challenges.
Rauluni expressed satisfaction with the win, especially after recent losses to Scotland and the Netherlands, stating that the victory boosts the players’ confidence ahead of the challenging game against Samoa.
