Four teams from Fiji are set to compete for the Netball championship at the 10th Sanatan World Cup, taking place in Sydney next weekend. The Fijian teams — Suva, Labasa Tuva, and Nasinu — will face eight other competitors from Australia and New Zealand.
Suva is placed in Group A alongside the Liverpool Flames, Sydney Warriors Orange, and NZ Team Bula. Labasa, meanwhile, is in Group B with Melbourne Amazon, Sydney Warriors, and NZ Highbrook. Group C consists of Liverpool, Auckland Ferns, Tuva, and Nasinu.
A total of 18 group matches will be held, leading to the advancement of the top eight teams to the quarterfinals. The single-day tournament is scheduled for Saturday, September 28, at the Blacktown Spartan Sporting Complex courts 1 and 2. Additionally, the Rams Group of Companies’ 10th Sanatan World Cup will kick off on Thursday, September 26, starting with the football competition.
