Bayonne center Sireli Maqala showcased his skills alongside former England star Manu Tuilagi at second-five eighth, leading their team to a convincing 32-15 victory over Racing 92. Maqala scored a try in the 45th minute, with tighthead prop Luke Tagi making a notable contribution off the bench. Racing 92 featured the powerful winger Josua Tuisova.
In another match, elusive winger Jiu ta Wainiqolo crossed the try line in Toulon’s 30-17 win against Montpellier, with utility back Seta Tuicuvu also contributing on the wing.
