President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere of Fiji departed yesterday to take part in the 50th Anniversary celebrations of Niue’s constitution, which will take place on Saturday, October 19th, 2024. The event, known as Niue Constitution Day, marks the country’s achievements in self-determination since 1974 and is expected to attract a significant number of visitors. During President Katonivere’s absence, Justice Salesi Temo will serve as Acting Chief Justice. The President is set to return to Fiji next Wednesday.
