Veteran Fijian politician and academic Dr Tupeni Baba has passed away.
Fiji Labour Party (FLP) leader Mahendra Chaudhry confirmed this to this newspaper yesterday.
Dr Baba was one of the stalwarts of the FLP and was also a founding member of the Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA).
