The Fijian government is introducing significant tax incentives to bolster two major sports initiatives.
Donors contributing more than $10,000 to support Fiji’s bid for hosting the 2031 Pacific Games are eligible for a 200% tax deduction.
Likewise, contributions exceeding $250,000 to back Fiji’s efforts to join the National Rugby League (NRL) will also benefit from a 200% tax deduction.
Furthermore, should the NRL bid succeed, the responsible organization will enjoy a 13-year tax holiday and duty concessions akin to those granted to the Fijian Drua.
