The Fijian Drua has officially appointed Josaia Moimoi, a highly experienced financial expert, as the club’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Moimoi takes over the role from Shafina Dean, who has relocated to New Zealand for further studies.

Moimoi hails from Vanuabalavu in Lau and brings more than a decade of expertise in the financial services sector. He possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management along with qualifications in Organisational Behaviour from Brigham Young University in Hawaii. Prior to joining Drua, he served as a Financial Management Specialist at the U.S. Embassy.

Mark Evans, the CEO of Fijian Drua, expressed his enthusiasm about Moimoi’s appointment, citing his extensive experience and strong performance during the recruitment process, which included both international and local candidates. He also acknowledged the contributions of the outgoing CFO, Shafina Dean, during her tenure.
