The Fijian Drua has appointed Josaia Moimoi as their new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), succeeding Shafina Dean, who has relocated to New Zealand for further studies. Moimoi hails from Vanuabalavu in Lau and brings more than a decade of financial services experience to the role. He possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management, along with qualifications in Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University in Hawaii. Before joining the Drua, he served as a Financial Management Specialist at the Embassy of the United States.
Mark Evans, the club’s CEO, praised Moimoi for his extensive experience and strong performance during a rigorous recruitment process that attracted both local and international candidates. Evans also expressed gratitude to Dean for her contributions during her tenure.
