The Fijian Drua has announced that Josaia Moimoi, a seasoned financial expert, has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the club. Moimoi succeeds Shafina Dean, who has relocated to New Zealand for further studies.
Hailing from Vanuabalavu in Lau, Moimoi brings over ten years of financial services experience to his new role. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management, along with a qualification in Organizational Behaviour from Brigham Young University in Hawaii. Prior to joining the Drua, Moimoi served as the Financial Management Specialist at the Embassy of the United States of America.
Mark Evans, CEO of Fijian Drua, expressed confidence in Moimoi’s capabilities, noting that he excelled in a comprehensive recruitment process against both international and local candidates. He also extended gratitude towards the outgoing CFO, Shafina Dean, for her contributions to the club.
